Unitree in Chile and Mexico: models, uses and how to import them
Unitree is the most searched robot brand in the region. Its full line, what each model is for and how to bring it to your company.
Unitree Robotics is a Chinese manufacturer of quadruped and humanoid robots, known for models such as the Go2, the B2 and the G1 humanoid. The G1 is sold in five versions: basic, Pro for events, EDU for development, EDU with dexterous hands and EDU with a Spanish-language reception package; manufacturing takes 20 to 30 days from payment. Its line ranges from teaching equipment to industrial and rescue robots. Robusto manages the on-demand import of Unitree models to Chile and Mexico, with a fixed price that includes everything through delivery. Robusto is not an official distributor of the brand.

3. The Unitree G1 versions
The G1 is not a single product: the version defines what the robot can do, whether it can be programmed, and how long the warranty lasts. Choosing the right version is the most important decision of the purchase.
| Version | What's included | In-house development | Warranty | What it's for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| G1 Basic | 23 degrees of freedom, 3D LiDAR and depth camera, remote control, about 2 hours of battery | No | 8 months | Simple remote-control demonstrations |
| G1 Pro | 29 degrees of freedom (3-axis waist and 7-axis arms), more torque and payload, 10+ routines (dance, kung fu, interaction) and a compute module with built-in navigation | No | 12 months | Brand activations, trade shows, launches and showrooms |
| G1 EDU | Standard (23 degrees of freedom) and Plus (29) versions, with high- and low-level development kit, manuals and technical support | Yes | 18 months | Universities, labs and in-house integrations |
| G1 EDU with hands | Dexterous hands with three or five fingers, with or without tactile sensors, and a wrist camera | Yes | 18 months | Object manipulation and advanced research |
| G1 EDU with reception package | Autonomous navigation, facial-recognition greeting, point-by-point explanations along the route and AI conversation in Spanish; requires Wi-Fi or 5G on site | Yes | 12 to 18 months | Showrooms, museums and visitor reception |
The Basic and Pro versions do not support in-house development: if the robot needs to converse in Spanish, guide visits or connect to your systems, you need an EDU version. Prices depend on configuration and are provided in the quote.
