Price ranges for the humanoids you can buy today, what the factory price includes and how much it adds to bring them to Chile or Mexico.

The G1's professional versions (Pro for events, EDU for development, and Spanish-language reception) are quoted according to configuration. Freight, insurance, taxes, and customs are added on top. Factory list prices in US dollars, current as of October 2026. They do not include freight, insurance or taxes. Versions marked "Consultar" (to be confirmed) depend on configuration and are provided in the quote. All G1 versions are detailed in the Unitree in Chile and Mexico guide.
2. What the factory price includes and what it doesn't
The list price includes the robot, one battery, the charger, and the remote control. The warranty ranges from 8 to 18 months depending on the version and covers parts and the manufacturer's remote support.
It does not include international freight, insurance, import taxes, customs management, local delivery or commissioning. Nor does it include additional batteries, which are necessary for long shifts because on the G1 each battery lasts about 2 hours.
3. From the factory price to the price delivered to your company
| Component | Chile | Mexico |
|---|---|---|
| Air freight and insurance | Depends on weight, volume and lithium battery handling | |
| Tariff | 0% with certificate of origin under the Chile–China FTA; 6% without it | IGI based on tariff classification; some rates rose in 2026 for countries without a trade agreement |
| Other duties | Customs broker management | DTA, generally 0.8% of the customs value |
| VAT | 19%, tax credit for companies | 16%, creditable for companies |
Reference example: a basic Unitree G1 at US$13,500 factory price lands in Chile at around US$15,500 to US$17,000 before VAT, once air freight, insurance and customs handling are added. For a company, VAT is recovered as a tax credit.
The process for each country is in the guides to importing a robot to Chile and to Mexico, and the complete purchase process is in how to buy a robot.
4. What about Tesla Optimus?
Tesla Optimus is not for sale. Tesla began early production in October 2026, expects to deliver the first robots to companies around late 2027 and is targeting a price of US$20,000 to US$30,000 at large scale. The sites that currently accept Optimus orders are not affiliated with Tesla. See Tesla Optimus price, dates and alternatives.
If you need a humanoid in 2026, the available alternatives come from manufacturers such as Unitree, AgiBot, Booster, EngineAI and UBTECH, which already sell to companies and institutions in Latin America.
5. How to pay less for the same result
- Choose the right version. For an event with remote control you do not need a research version; for autonomous reception, a basic version will not work.
- Use the certificate of origin. In Chile, with it the tariff on Chinese equipment drops from 6% to 0%.
- Import in the company's name. Import VAT is recovered as a tax credit.
- Bundle the purchase. Freight for two units costs far less than two separate shipments.
- Budget for what comes next: additional batteries, software packages and out-of-warranty support.
